How does transport work with Logisticoo?
Order booking on our shipping platform is done via our shipping calculator. In the first step, you enter your shipment details and then select the appropriate transport type.
It is crucial to make the right decision when selecting the packaging material and to specify the dimensions including the packaging. For shipments over 30 kg, transport on a pallet is required.
Preparation for shipping solar panels:
After you have booked your transport and received the shipping documents, you can start preparing. If the total weight is over 30 kg, solar modules must be shipped on pallets or be able to be driven under by themselves. You can find more tips on this below.
Collection of the solar modules:
Our shipping employees usually pick up the goods from the curb. For shipments weighing more than 30 kg, it is important that they can either be moved under by themselves or provided on a pallet. In addition, the solar modules must be protected with a box with bubble wrap.
Delivery of solar modules:
Delivery and collection are carried out curbside. Our shipping employees unload the shipment at the delivery address and obtain your signature for acceptance.

How do I properly pack solar modules?
To ensure that solar modules reach their destination safely and intact, proper packaging is crucial. Below you will find the essential tips for packaging:
Cleaning the solar panels: Before packing, the solar panels should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, dust and debris. A clean surface makes inspection easier and protects against damage.
Protection of the glass surface: The sensitive glass surfaces of the solar modules must be particularly protected. Use appropriate protective films or materials to prevent scratches and impacts.
Individual packaging: Pack each solar panel separately to ensure optimal safety. Use sturdy boxes large enough to safely hold the solar panels.
Use of cushioning materials: Pad the solar panels with foam pads, bubble wrap or other shock-absorbing materials to protect them from mechanical impact during transportation.
Use stable frames: If the solar modules have a frame, make sure that it is stable and well secured. An intact frame protects the modules from deformation and breakage.
Fixing in the box: Fix the solar modules within the boxes to minimize movement. Use foam pads or other suitable materials to securely position the modules.
Fill empty spaces: Use crumpled paper, foam pads, or bubble wrap to fill empty spaces in the box. This helps reduce vibrations during transport.
Fragility marking: Clearly visible markings on the boxes facilitate correct handling during transport. Label the boxes with information such as “Caution – fragile solar modules” or “Fragile goods”.
